2024/2026 Independent Raisin Producer Nominations

Voting ballots will be mailed to independent producers on December 15th, and are to be postmarked by January 5, 2024 for counting.

Independent producers’ member/alternate seats for the 2024/26 RAC term based on deliveries for the 2022/23 crop year will be a total of Twenty-one (21) seats.

  • District 1 – North of Fresno County will have 1 member / 1 alternate
  • District 2 – South of Fresno County will have 1 member / 1 alternate
  • District 3 – Fresno County will have 19 members / 19 alternates

The Raisin Administrative Committee has unclaimed grower equity funds from the 2009 Crop Year’s Reserve Raisin Pools. The entities listed on the next page have unclaimed funds.

Welcome!

The Raisin Administrative Committee is a federal marketing order, led by 47 growers, packers, and a public member. The RAC is directly overseen by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and was created in 1949 as a result of the Agricultural Marketing Agreement Act of 1937.

The Raisin Administrative Committee meets regularly at our headquarters in downtown Fresno, employs a staff of 10, collects and distributes delivery data weekly, shipment data monthly, publishes an annual report of industry statistics and policies, actively and directly markets into 19 foreign nations, and collaborates with the USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS).
